Step 1:
Visit https://zone.game/ and click on ‘Launch App’. It will open the ZONE Testnet in a new tab.
Step 2:
Click on the ‘Connect Wallet’ button on the top-right corner to connect your My Algo wallet. Your Testnet wallet will be used automatically.
Step 3:
To add money to your Algo testnet wallet follow these steps.
1:- Go to https://bank.testnet.algorand.network/
2:- Enter your Algo Wallet Address in “target address”
3:- Click on “Dispense”
10 ALGOs will be dispensed to your testnet Algo Wallet.
Step 4:
- Select Chess to challenge someone to play against. Chess will be the first game available but any game with open APIs can be added in the future. So stay tuned because it won’t be long before your favorite games are added.
2. Set the no. of testnet ALGOs you want to challenge with, click “Continue”.
3. A challenge link will be generated. Copy the link and share it with the person you want to challenge. After sharing the link click on “I have shared the link”.
4. A countdown of 15 minutes will appear on the screen, which indicates how long people can accept a challenge using the link you shared earlier.
5. When your opponent follows the challenge link, they will see a box that says ‘You have been challenged.’ They will need to click the ‘Accept Challenge’ box to play the game.
6. You will have to click the ‘Sign’ button to set the challenge. Your opponent cannot sign the transaction until you have. Once you have signed, the agreed-upon amount will be locked in a smart contract, ready to be deployed to the winner after the game.
7. A wallet notification will pop up from My Algo. Enter your Algo wallet password to sign the smart contract. Make sure to allow the pop-ups from zone.game in order to access the signing page.
8. Your opponent will see an awaiting confirmation screen until you sign the transaction. Once you’ve signed, the ‘Sign’ button will appear for them as well.
9. Once both parties have signed, click the ‘Join Game’ button.
Start the game and play to win! The winning amount will be automatically deposited into your wallet after the match ends.
FAQs
1. I am unable to sign the transactions. It is stuck at “awaiting confirmation”. Did you allow all pop-ups?
Allow pop-ups from app.zone.game to play or you won’t be able to sign the transactions!

2. Decision API failed. I had to wait too long!
The Algorand Testnet has limitations. It only allows 20 games to be played simultaneously. This is not Zone’s fault! Please try again after some time. The mainnet version will not have such limitations.
3. It says I am already in a game?
If you challenge or accept a challenge and do not start the game or exit the game, you will have to wait for 15 minutes before starting the game again!
4. I don’t have ALGO to play!
Go to https://bank.testnet.algorand.network/ and input your ALGO wallet address to get some!
